This role supports pediatric and adolescent care across select Albuquerque public schools, helping expand access to essential services through a mobile model. The ideal candidate holds a CMA or RMA credential, has at least two years of clinical experience in primary care, and is comfortable working with children and diverse communities. Experience in public health or infectious disease care (e.g., HIV) is preferred. Responsibilities include assisting with patient exams, performing phlebotomy, managing records in compliance with HIPAA, and supporting mobile clinic operations. A valid BLS certification and driver’s license are required, along with strong communication skills and a child-centered, empathetic approach to care. Health Yeah! is an equity-centered mobile health program that provides primary and behavioral healthcare to Albuquerque public schools through mobile units and a brick-and-mortar clinic. The program is designed to address healthcare disparities, increase access to care for school-aged children and their families, and promote wellness in underserved communities.
The RN Manager will oversee clinical operations, care coordination, and quality assurance within the program. They will work closely with the Medical Director to ensure high-quality, evidence-based care is provided across mobile and fixed clinic sites. As a key member of the multidisciplinary team, which includes behavioral health professionals, community health workers (CHWs), and advanced practice providers (APPs), the RN Manager will facilitate seamless care delivery. Additionally, they will provide direct supervision to medical assistants (MAs), ensuring adherence to clinical best practices and operational efficiency.
