Let’s take action together
Bernalillo County has abruptly terminated Health Yeah! of New Mexico’s contract – cutting off vital school-based and carceral health services despite a year remaining on the agreement and without providing any explanation. For more than a year, our team has delivered hundreds of no-cost visits to students, families, and individuals in treatment, building trusted relationships and improving access to care.
With less than 30 days’ notice, families are now facing the loss of a vital continuum of care, a decision that puts children and medically fragile patients at risk. We believe continuity of care is essential, not optional, and are urging Bernalillo County to reconsider.
Sign the petition below and use the resources provided to take action today.
I believe in protecting access to care for children, families, and individuals in treatment in Bernalillo County.
By signing this petition, I am urging the Bernalillo County Commissioners to overturn the decision to end access to vital school-based and carceral health services, and ensure that Health Yeah!, powered by Wellness Equity Alliance, can continue providing care for our community.

Bernalillo County is ending Health Yeah!’s school-based health services on Sept 30, leaving kids and families without trusted doctors.
For many students, this is their only access to care. Ending these services with no transition plan puts their health at risk.
